Well the San Antonio Carrabba's Half Sweatathon Marathon is this Saturday. I haven't been following my training plans whatsoever, but it's never too late to start right? I still have four whole days to get a couple runs in. :)
I signed up for this race right after the Boston Marathon before I even had a chance to realize how burned out I was from running. My 5-6 day running weeks turned in to 1-2 day running weeks, but my body enjoyed the much needed break, and I have no time expectations for this half marathon. I'm in it for the post-race food. :) The registration fee for this race is more than worth the post race Carrabba's meal I'll get to eat. Yummy. Have you ever eaten at Carrabba's?
I'm a big fan of their chicken marsala, and they even have a gluten-free menu! They brought me this yummy gluten-free dessert for my birthday the last time I ate there. So, even though their race is in the middle of June in San Antonio, I'll probably always sign up for it. Race pickins are slim around here this time of year, so I'll take whatever I can get.

Here's the first picture of my next 30 day challenge which will be to take a picture everyday for 30 days!
My poor little guy is sick today. Sick kids are the cutest, sweetest, saddest things in the world. We are really, really, unbelievably good at getting sick the week of races. I'm crossing my fingers that I won't get whatever he has before this Saturday, but If I do, oh well. Now that I've experienced getting sick before the Boston Marathon, I don't think getting sick before any other race can really phase me much.
Don't forget to enter my giveaway! You have until Saturday (6/18) at midnight!
What's your favorite restaurant?
I actually have a lot depending on the mood I'm in. When I'm in Utah it's Zuppas. I wish they had one of those here! They have the best salads in the whole world. Do you have a Zuppas where you live? Hula Hut is a Texas favorite, and Carrabba's is a Utah/Texas favorite.

Carrabbas rocks! Hope your little guy feels better fast and doesn't spread any germs!
