So Happy She's Back!

One of my best friends and favorite running buddies is finally home! She just got back from a mission to Brazil. She was an amazing missionary and the people who met her in Brazil were so blessed and lucky to have met her. I have been waiting patiently for 1 1/2 years for her to come back and I can't believe she is already home! We went running this morning together and it was so fun!! It doesn't even feel like she was gone for 1 1/2 years even though so much has happened in that time. After all we did have a third running buddy and a stroller with us today.

This picture is from the day she got home from Brazil. She was still trying to remember how to speak English and she had an accent. It was so funny.

I just love being around this girl. She is always so happy and her positive energy just rubs off on anyone she's around, so you can't help but be in a good mood when you're around her. We ran our very first marathon together in 2005 and have been best friends/running buddies ever since. We are planning to do the Halloween half-marathon together on Oct.31. It's a costume race too, so if you have any good ideas of a running-friendly and fun costume let me know! She is busy at BYU, but we get to run about three times a week now. Wahoo!
